Mx - A Poem By TJ

Am I a boy or am I a girl or am I something in between.
When I say I love you it's a simple matter of finding out which I, I mean.
When I say I need you it's a simple matter of you responding to my touch.
Am I a boy or am I a girl is simply something that then doesn't matter much.
 .
Am I my gender gentle gender gentle little boy.
I am my body busy body broad shoulders for a girl.
 Misfit to the core
 Always searching for
 The truth
 .
 Don't need to be more
 .
Boy girl boy girl boy girl mix
 Be-tween, be-tween, between, betwixt.
 .
 I am that I am this -
 .
 Mx

Travels #5: Berlin – A Poem By TJ

Closed doors closed doors
 Closed doors and walls.
 .
 Berlin Berlin let me in!
I don't want to know anymore
 .
And it is cold and there is rain and I can see the sun.
And I could fold into her stare but she doesn’t feel the same.
 .
She doesn’t care to know my name.
 .
Foreign foreign but not so foreign
 Where do I fit in?
Searching searching so much hurting .
 Searching for my kin.
 .
And she dares to assume I’m other.
She does not let me in.
 .
I may as well be other,
If there’s a prize I can never win.
 .
 I blame you yes,
 Maybe I do,
 I blame you,
 .
 Berlin.

The Hope Tree is Growing
 .
Down the rabbit hole I go
To the Pits of Pain and Despair
 And if I’m really lucky
I’ll find the Hope Tree I planted there
 .
I’ll find my friendly Hope Tree growing
In the Depth Sea of Doom
I’ll hang onto a sturdy branch
And know the waves will wash by soon
 .
I’ll watch those powerful waves go by
And as I watch I’ll see
And then I’ll blink and climb back to
 Consensus Reality
 .
Down the rabbit hole I go
To the Pits of Pain and Despair
 And if I’m really lucky
I’ll find the Hope Tree I planted there
 .
